Meeting Facilities
All 40th Annual NCSM Conference activities and events will be held in Salt Lake City at the Grand America and Little America hotels, which are located across the street from each other. The hotels are located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.
Travel Information
Conference Air Travel. Attendees traveling by air should plan to fly into the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). The airport is approximately 10-15 minutes away from the Grand America and Little America hotels.
Conference Ground Transportation. All NCSM Conference activities and events are located at the Grand America and Little America hotels. These hotels are directly across the street from one another.
You may walk to any number of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
The Convention Center is only 5 blocks away. You may walk there or catch the light rail, which stops at Courthouse station, just outside the two hotels. There is no charge for the light rail in this zone. The light rail arrives every 15 minutes. Travel 2 minutes to the next stop, Gallivan Plaza, and walk 1 block to the Convention Center.
On Site Registration and Check-In
Conference Material Distribution. All conference materials, including conference name badge, bags, programs and tickets will be distributed on site.
Early Bird Check-In. If you registered in advance, bring a copy of your registration confirmation email to pick up your conference name badge and tickets at the Early Bird Check-In area at the Grand America Hotel on Sunday, April 6, 2008, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Receptions and Meal Functions
There is no charge for the sponsored functions: Monday's Box Lunch, or Reception; Tuesday's Breakfast, Luncheon, or Reception; or Wednesday's Breakfast, or Luncheon. This year, you will need to sign up for the events you want to attend. Tickets for the functions will be handed to you on site when you check in or register, while supplies last. The number of tickets for each event is limited. Please turn in tickets that you will not be using at the registration booth. Guest tickets are not available at any time. Only those who are fully registered for the conference are eligible to receive the free tickets for the sponsored events.
Sessions
Location. All sessions are held in the Little America and Grand America Hotels. Most sessions are in rooms set theater style, but some rooms will be set with round tables.
First-Come, First-Seated. Seating at all sessions is on a first-arrive, first-seated basis, so be sure to have alternate sessions in mind for all time slots. Note, because of fire codes, no one will be allowed to remain in a session unless a seat is available.
Updates. Information on our Web site will be updated as new information becomes available, with session times and locations posted starting in December. A program book, including session descriptions, will be distributed to attendees on site at check in.

NCSM conference attendees will have the opportunity to examine, explore, and review products of NCSM's sponsors in the Sponsor Display Areas. See the Conference Overview for more details.
Be sure to make time in your schedule to visit the NCSM Sponsor Display Area and wear you badge to gain entrance.

Volunteers Needed On Site
Volunteering at the NCSM Annual Conference is a rewarding experience providing you with opportunities to network and make new friends. The NCSM Second Vice-President serves as the Volunteer Recruitment and Management Chair. She is recruiting volunteers who would like to assist in one or more of the following activities.
- Conference Bag preparation (Sunday afternoon)
- Conference Bag stuffing (Sunday afternoon)
- Early Bird Check-In (Sunday afternoon)
- On-Site Registration (Sunday afternoon, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)
- Ticket Takers at Meals and Receptions (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)
