Assistant Professor of STEM Education
I am very excited about the opportunity to serve as the Associate Editor of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) newsletter. I strongly believe in the mission and vision of NCSM. NCSM is an outstanding organization for educational leaders, with a focus on student achievement. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the mathematics education profession that has given so much to me.
I have actively been involved in mathematics education for several years. My experience ranges from early childhood to higher education settings. I have had the opportunity to work with diverse student populations and the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) has always been a source of information invaluable information. The vision of the NCSM attracted me to the organization. Being a part of NCSM allows me to network and collaborate with education stakeholders, communicate with leaders, support academic achievement, and motivation education leaders. I value these four key components, as they are integral in enhancing mathematics education.
