Nominations Process

Capitalize on your NCSM Membership and Leadership. Consider running for an open Board position or nominating someone for a position. Nomination forms can be downloaded here or you may nominate someone online. Forms will also be available at the NCSM conference in Washington DC. All nominations are due by May 15, 2009.

Candidate Eligibility

If you are running for a position or nominating someone for a position, please note the eligibility requirements. According to the NCSM Constitution, Article V, Section 4, "A candidate for any office shall have been a member of NCSM in good standing for at least the previous year before being placed in nomination." Therefore, members eligible to be placed in nomination must be in good standing as of May 15, 2008.

Voter Eligibility

Make sure that you are eligible to vote in the election. A notification of election postcard will be mailed to members in good standing as of August 15, 2009. It is very important to keep your membership current!
