News from Central 2 Region
Comfort Akwaji-Anderson, Central 2 Regional Director
Summer 2015

Thanks to those who were able to attend the annual conference in Boston, and our Central Region 2 caucus in particular. A huge thank you to those who have served as State Leaders for the past few years: Sue Runyon (Iowa), Connie Schrock (Kansas), Karen Coblentz (Minnesota), Mary Richards (Wisconsin), and Sue Graupner (Nebraska). We appreciate all you did to encourage others to join NCSM or renew their membership. Please continue to do so to help us grow our region's membership.

New State Leadership

You will hear more about our incoming State Leaders and some of what's happening in various states throughout our region in an upcoming NCSM Newsletter. If you have questions for our team leaders, they are listed on the right hand side of this page.

Summer Professional Development: There are several upcoming NCSM professional development opportunities for members to continue to network with other math leaders in your region either face-to-face or electronically. If available, be sure to take advantage of those. These include:

Teams of teachers and leaders are especially encouraged to attend!!

As the school year ends, it is my hope that we can all find time to reflect and set some goals for next year. At the same time, my wish for you is to relax, refresh, rejuvenate, and recharge during your time off.

Hope You're Having a Happy Summer!
