Rhode Island Mathematics Teachers Association (RIMTA)
RIMTA is a professional organization for people interested in mathematics education in Rhode Island. RIMTA traditionally holds two meetings each year, fall and spring, which feature talks and workshops by noted national and regional speakers, and local experts. Members can attend RIMTA meetings at a reduced fee. The RIMTA Newsletter is published three times each year electronically. When you join RIMTA, you automatically become a member of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics in New England (ATMNE). ATMNE members receive two annual newsletters, the New England Mathematics Journal (NEMJ), invitations to regional conferences and more. All ATMNE publications have gone GREEN so make sure you keep your email up to date.
