Summer is here and you have survived one of the most difficult years in education! Surviving is what BOLD leaders do, so I want to say thank you for being a BOLD leader and a champion for mathematics education.
Special thanks to those who were able to attend the NCSM Bold Leadership Summit in April. I hope you were able to gain more resources to equip you tools to continue your growth in leadership. If you were not able to attend, don’t worry, they are more opportunities to learn and grow. Get your calendars ready! More opportunities to learn, connect, collaborate, and grow are ahead.

As leaders, we continue to shift our thinking, gain new perspectives, use our voice and take meaningful action to make sure everyone succeeds at high levels in mathematics. We are all in this together and NCSM is here to continue to support you as a leader to Make it Happen. With that being said, I leave you with this poem.
You do great things, leading teachers who lead learners
To soon become our top earners
All inspired by leaders you know
Stay strong and know they’ll grow
Now mass waves of teachers become strong
With you, they feel they belong
Through your eyes, words and actions they feel
Math Education has appeal
Caring and loving, they know your heart
So, keep on keeping on so they will never part!
