As a former elementary and middle school math teacher and coach, I am passionate about supporting teachers, honoring their expertise, and creating learning opportunities for them to hone their craft. I am currently an assistant professor at Hunter College where I teach and develop high quality clinical experiences for pre-service educators, while also conducting research on professional learning. I also continue to work with schools and districts to provide collaborative coaching and professional learning supports for in-service teachers and administrators. I am excited to serve the members of NCSM as a Coaching Coordinator.
Member Story
When I first moved into a coaching role, I found it to be a lonely space. NCSM provided me with a community and resources to help me on my journey. Attending and presenting at NCSM’s annual conferences has connected me with so many wonderful leaders that I have able to collaborate with. I look forward to continuing to learn alongside our members.
