Summer 2019
Greetings to all Central 1 NCSM Members from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio! I hope everyone in our region can find rest and relaxation with friends and family this summer.
The annual conference this past April was an amazing experience! Thank you to all of the Central 1 members who attended the regional caucus. It was great to hear the amazing things going on in each of our states. I’d also like to those of you contributed to our annual conference through volunteering, speaking or sponsoring the event.
I will be attending a few state conferences in our region, as well as collaborating with the local conference team for the NCSM Annual Conference in Chicago (March 30th – April 1st)! We have an exciting opportunity this year with the annual conference in our back yard. Please share the conference link with mathematics leaders in your network.
NCSM is hosting two leadership seminars this year titled, Empower Coaches and Teacher Leaders as Agents of Change for ALL Learners. The NCSM Summer Leadership Academy is in Madison, WI on July 22 -24 and the Fall Seminar is in De Moines, IA on November 18th.
